Bayview Redi-Mix was founded in 1963. Located in Elma, they served residential and commercial work for Eastern Grays Harbor County with three employees and two concrete trucks. In 1991, Bayview expanded its operations to Ocean Shores. Then in 1993, Bayview further enhanced its ability to serve the County by acquiring another location in Aberdeen. Bayview is owned and operated by Jack Prince, a lifetime resident of Grays Harbor County; his two sons Marvin and Darin are both in line to run the operation in the near future.
In the beginning Bayview had four employees, offering Redi-mixed concrete, rock, sand, and crushed gravel products. Through the years Bayview has seen not only its employee base grow, but also it's customer base as well. By acquiring the Aberdeen location, they were able to expand their sales to include, brick and block, masonry products, landscaping supplies and other concrete related materials.
Bayview currently employs 36 full and part-time workers, ranging from clerical, laborer, to mechanical and drivers. Also on staff, is a quality control engineer to help make sure every job gets done right. They have also expanded their machinery to 16 concrete trucks, 3 dump trucks, and rock crushing and wash facility. We also have a 10,000 square foot warehouse containing masonry, and landscaping products.
Bayview prides itself on customer service but their best-known community project is their entry into the "Montesano Festival of Lights parade," where they feature one of their concrete trucks decorated with miniature lights and the drum is fully functional. The truck has been known to have as many as 15,000 lights and has been seen from Ocean Shores, south to Vancouver and as far north as Seattle. It was featured in the national publication the "Concrete Producers," in 1994. Bayview's community involvement is also seen with the Prince family's outstanding support. Jack Prince has been in involved in little league baseball most of his life to the voice of the Eagles for over 40 years. His son, Marvin, has been coaching high school basketball for 12 years, while his brother, Darin, is an airforce reserved for 20 years.
So remember, whether it's a small do it yourself project in landscaping, building a new home, adding an addition to your existing home, or a commercial project Bayview Redi-Mix can deliver.
